Garden work the easy way

When we decided to clear the dirt from the front of the house the best part of the deal was that someone did it for me. What a great decision, the fornt yard is so much better.

Daniels Birthday

It was Daniel's 5th birthday today.

He got a set of golf clubs, a new quilt for his bunk, a new computer game and some new clothes. At school he had a lovely cake.

Bargara Trip

We went to Bargara this weekend to get some kms up on the car. We had such a lovely time we want to go back again. We stayed at Don Panchos on the beach in a huge double room. The 3 big boys got their own room (they were so excited).

While exploring the beach Catherine and the boys found a rock pool that had fish trapped in it. The fish came right up to their feet.

We also went to the Bundaberg Ginger Beer factory and went on the interactive tour.

New Toy

We have finally purchased a ride on. What a ripper. Now every one wants to do the mowing. 

Swimming Carnival

Daniel had a wonderful time doing the Prep wading races

Lachlan competed in the 25m kickboard and won. He was so excited. He wants to do lots of races next year so he wins more ribbons.

Clean up Australia Day 2006

The big boys and Dad spent Sunday morning picking up rubbish as part of Clean Up Australia Day. This is Lachlan's 5th year and Daniel 3rd year of participating in Clean Up Australia Day and they look forward to it every year.

Pool Update

The coping around the pool edge started to go down today. This should be finished on Monday and then the concreters will start next week. Can't wait for the concrete, there is so much dirt getting into the pool.

Once this is done Then Jeff can start the retaining wall and finally the fence which should be done by the start of April.
