The big boys were up early this morning (4.45am apparently, so Lachlan told us). Catherine got up to check on them at 5:00am and by that time they had emptied their Santa sacks and were happily playing. We were all up by 5:45am.
We had a delightful time opening presents. What a hoot. 
Grandy bought a minature quad bike for Christmas. The boys had a ball riding it until the batteries went flat.
We went to the Rockhampton Rockpool & Waterpark today. Lachlan, Daniel & Jeff thorougly enjoyed the water slides and inflatibles.
While Noah, Joshua & Catherine enjoyed playing on the Nemo Jumping Castle.
Noah tried to fly yesterday, most unsuccessfully, resulting in our 2nd ambulance call for the year.
He was concussed and had a GCS of 4 (E1V1M2) for over 1 hour (a normal GCS is 15) and during the ambulance trip to hospital was not responding at all, however the magic of hospital air seemed to fix everything.
His Doctor decided to keep him in overnight for observation so Noah got a wheelchair ride.
His nurse Alice was lovely, Jeff discovered she was from Blackall and remembers Tony and the rest of the Blackall Green's.
Jeff stayed in hospital overnight with Noah, who did not appreciate hospital food, he wanted his 'porj" short for porridge, however Joshua did not mind and just helped himself to Noah's leftovers.
All is better now with Noah home and hopefully be more appreciative of gravity.
At the racecourse markets today the boys thought they would take on a rock climbing wall to try an ring the bell 8 metres up! So both Daniel & Lachlan kitted up.
Daniel made it up to about the 6 meter mark before his fingers wore out on him. It seemed to be as much fun coming down as it was going up.
Lachlan made it up to about the 3 metre mark. He appeared to be restricted by his jeans and his great attraction to terra firma.
Some say that 13 is an unlucky number, however finally after 13 years Jeff's touch team has won a grand final. The final score was 8-5 with Jeff scoring 1 and setting up several. Go Cheaters!!!
Jeff's touch football team has made the Grand Final after scoring a try as the final hooter sounded, avoiding having to go to a "drop off".... Go Cheaters.
Joshua turned 1 today. How fast the year fast gone. He is very advanced in all he does for his age - but we are not surprised as he wants to keep up with the big boys! Josh is a truely delightful baby and the boys all love him, he lights up and harasses them with enthusiasm!
He enjoyed ripping into his presents, probably not as much as the other 3 did. Mummy did her thing and made a Humpty Dumpty cake and all the boys were suitable impressed and enjoyed carving him up and picking which body parts to eat!
Ash and Lisas wedding was held on Greens Point, Angourie and the reception at Frangipan restaurant. The weather was great, very windy but not like it had been all week. Lisa looked magnificent and it was just a lovely ceremony. Our boys looked great and were so well behaved we got to enjoy it all as well!! As they have been together for 12 years we were all glad this day had arrived.
